Find all the accommodations you need to relax, read a book, be adventurous, or just spend a few nights under the stars by a campfire. This lake house is located close to nature trails, the State Park, and 45 minutes to Traverse City.
Our Lakehouse features 165 ft of shallow sandy bottom shore front. From May to September, there is a dock available for guest use. Lake Mitchell is popular for boating, swimming, kayaking, water skiing, and fishing. Bring your own boat and take the canal to Lake Cadillac where you can boat all the way to downtown Cadillac and walk a short distance to dinner, drinks, shopping, and our beautiful waterfront pavilion with entertainment all summer long. There is a canoe available for guest use from May to September. Bring your own kayaks and launch right from the property. Many of our guest rents jetskis and SUP.
Winter adventurist? Right out the backdoor you can enjoy ice fishing, ice skating, snow shoeing , and cross-country skiing. The Cadillac Area also offers the best snowmobiling trails in Northern Michigan with over 200 miles of groomed trails. The cottage is 25 minutes from Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort.
The house is equipped with all of the conveniences from home: A/C, a full home water filtration system offering the purest drinking water, a tankless wetter heater for guaranteed hot water for all guests, and hypoallergenic baseboard heating making the home feel clean, warm and cozy. We have highspeed internet and a dedicated workspace for those that cannot completely unplugged during the stay.
Pets: Up to two dogs are allowed. No Cats. Dogs must be well behaved, potty trained and are not allowed on the furniture. Please indicate the number of pets on the Reservation screen. A $75 fine will be charged for any unregistered pets.
