How about a beach, just added 75 yards of sand, with a fire-pit, deck over-looking the beach/lake, and a golf course across the street. That's the way to enjoy a vacation. If you're renting a lake home, you need to be enjoying the lake. This location is one of the best on the chain of 7 lakes.
You can see 7 miles of lakes in front of you and on weekends, boats traveling in the no-wake zone, passing by the house, great people watching and entertainment. During the week the lake is pretty quiet, good fishing time or boating with family. There is both a sand and grass area covering 150 feet of lake frontage. Please note, in the summer months the home only rents Saturday - Saturday, Spring and Fall the rental time period varies.
The home rents Sat-Sat because I have multiple homes on the lake. We can only flip one home per day based on availability windows. My other home is the 3 story YELLOW A-Frame Looking Home, that home rents Sun-Sun.
Thurs - Sunday rentals at both homes Spring and Fall, Summer months 7 day as stated above.
Typically, two families or a large family rents this house. I say 14 people but that takes into account young children, usually up to 8 adults with children. There are 4 bedrooms and 8 single beds. The floor plan is the same on each level, upper and lower, 2 bedrooms (4 total), a full bathroom (2 total), and living room and a recreational room in lower level. The kitchen and dinning room are over the lower level laundry room and recreational room, that covers the 2500 sq. ft. This is a very private location, one home on the left and one on the right, rarely do you see the neighbors, 1 adult and 2 adults, that's it.
I do take great pride in the representation of this home. Upon your arrival, my property manager greets you and provides lots of information requested by renters, restaurants, bait, golf, boat information, where to fish, on and on. All of my renters appreciate the extra effort.
The home is very up to date, refer to pictures, but improvements are on going over the winter months. I do have a rental agreement and a security deposit that is required because I am providing you with a home and a pontoon boat. This is very typical with any rental, same as renting a hotel, car, boat, etc. The security deposit is returned to you following your departure as presented in the rental agreement.
You'll love this house and location. There is a 1000 sq.ft. deck facing the lake. Seating above and below the deck. The sand area has a fire pit, cedar swing, and a cedar playhouse, great for kids, slide, swings, rings, and fireman's pole. There is a dock with pontoon boat on the property which is very convenient, comes full with gas.
If you exit the front door you have a 25 yard walk to the 9th fairway of The Coldwater
Golf Course. The Clubhouse has a great bar and restaurant. The course is 100 years old, 5 holes play adjacent to Morrison Lake, 100 year old oaks throughout, and undulating greens with plenty of sand traps. It's a long course. If you don't golf, you'll love the view from the house. At least enjoy the bar/restaurant, it's one of the best lunch/dinner in town.
