Get out and check out the shops and wineries and come home to roast smores at the firepit. A short 40 minutes from Ann Arbor or Lansing, 4 miles to Michigan International Speedway, or a quick walk from the house to the lake - whatever your vision for your getaway, we've got you covered.
The Cottage
A 1961 cottage that has been added to and renovated; the current owners added a gorgeous bathroom with luxury shower and upgraded the kitchen and outdoor areas. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home welcomes you in comfort. Tucked into a residential lake community on Wolf Lake in Brooklyn, Michigan you have quick access to any number of area amenities - or a short walk down the hill to the dock and swim platform. This property has a 30amp hook up if you have an RV for extra guests (welcome with a fee) and welcomes well behaved dogs (no more than 2) who will remain under the control of its owner at all times. Swimming isn't from shore, but a jump off the swim platform. Feel free to bring a boat to enjoy this 69 acre lake (max depth 35 feet) and neighboring Allen Lake.

One the main floor, there is a bedroom (up one stair) with a king sized bed. The living room offers a queen size sofa sleeper.

Enjoy Time Inside
The open living/kitchen/dining makes interacting easy. An electric fireplace adds ambiance, and the streaming TV makes movie night easy (streaming TV, bring your Netflix log in). The fully stocked kitchen makes whipping up breakfast or dinner a pleasure. The spacious bedrooms offer privacy, and a bathroom on each floor makes sure everyone has access.
Get outside
Plenty of parking, a large deck and down the hill a private dock and swim platform. (3) kayaks are available for use, a firepit, grill, and outdoor dining. This home is equipped with a 30AMP RV plug - extend your group by bringing extra space (for a fee). Note this escape offers a lovely view across the lake from its hilltop perch - which rolls downhill to the firepit and dock, and its a climb back up. While not overly steep, its worth noting its probably not the best choice for any groups with mobility challenged folks. Similarly, the lake front is best accessed from the swim platform making it best for families with kids ready to jump in from the swim platform, not those looking for a beachy experience (which is available at the nearby state park). Bring a boat and dock it and enjoy the 69 acre lake.
