This is truly a one of a kind property conveniently located just five miles north of South Haven in a wooded peaceful neighborhood with lots of wildlife around.
Open the front or back door to the open concept living/dining/kitchen area with custom accents everywhere. Notice the impressive see through stone fireplace with real barnwood mantel on one side and trendy mantel encasement on the living room side. Check out the well stocked kitchen with large island, quartz countertops & glass back splash from there walk right onto the screened in porch that offers an additional eating area/seating and fire that overlooks the pool area. Two main floor bedrooms & bathrooms finish out the main level. The master bedroom has a custom ceiling and an attached master bathroom with double sinks, direct access to the pool & deck, washer & dryer and shower unit. The additional main floor bedroom is sized just right for guests who might not be able to navigate stairs and offers private bathroom access to the main floor bathroom.
The upstairs has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a living area. A large bedroom serves as a second floor master suite with an attached bathroom including a shower, toilet and sink. The spacious bunk room for all ages has four twin built in beds and a walk in closet full of toys! The living area on this floor is nautically themed with comfy overstuffed furniture and a large flatscreen to boot.
The downstairs is trimmed in unique real barn wood with a gaming area with foosball, air hockey and ping pong. The theater room offers a truly unique experience for the whole family with vintage seats and a sectional sofa. If it rains your family has plenty to do no matter what the weather is like.
Oh and lets talk about the HEATED pool.....its not huge, 10Wx 21L x 52 inches deep but large enough for a lot fun water time. A deck surrounding the pool makes a great hang out area for your gathering and attached cement patio area with more seating and a Weber grill. The hot tub sits right outside of the master bathroom door to the deck. The hot tub and pool are about 10 feet apart and kids and adults can jump from one to the other. Steps down from the patio offers some backyard green space that is fenced in. Hanging out at the outdoor bar by the pool getting splashed by the kids never sounded so good! We keep the pool temperature at 85 degrees & no extra charges for the heat. Pool is open from May1st to October 15.
LAST but not LEAST a private (our neighborhood only) Lake Michigan Beach accessed via a tram. Ride the tram (outdoor elevator) down the bluff (a very cool three minute picturesque ride in a tram cage) land at the button of the newly built reventment (boulder wall) via 2 sets of steps (see pic & video in this ad). We do have a beach this year but when the waves are high your best bet is to set your seat on the top of the reventment and enjoy the views! NOTE: the tram is seasonal (closed when ice and heavy snow happens)but the stairs are always open.
