Summary: Great for our overnight stay when visiting family. Friendly efficient check in to a spacious room and bathroom. Maybe the decor is a a little dated but good quality furniture, towels and bedding, all well maintained and very comfortable. Everything you need for an overnight stay, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits on the hospitality tray. Excellent breakfast with friendly attentive service, served in the atmospheric bistro. Excellent value too in January. Very likely to return
