Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We loved the location, which was quiet but still near local facilities, such as pub and supermarket. The cottage was cosy and had all the things you would need in a kitchen. There were biscuits left for us as well as teabags, coffee and sugar and there was milk in the fridge. There was even olive oil, chai teabags (which I totally forgot to try but they smelt delicious) vinegar as well as salt & pepper. The tv wasn’t very big but this wasn’t an issue for us as it made us more inclined to not switch it on, instead we either read, chatted and enjoyed the lovely wood fuelled stove. It really was a cosy room after the fire had been on for a while. The king size bed was comfortable and the curtains were effective at blocking out morning light. All in all our stay at Glebe Cottage was relaxing and very enjoyable. Will recommend to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Negative: Both bathrooms (family and en-suite) were a bit chilly compared to the rest of the cottage. The radiators were on but the rooms never seemed to get to the same temp as the rest of the house. But this not spoil our stay in the cottage.

Summary: Lovely cosy & warm cottage, perfect for relaxing.
