Live the real Notting Hill lifestyle. Just off the famous Portobello Road in the heart of Notting Hill this is a terrific, funky pad from which to explore one of London's grooviest districts. It is only four minutes away from Ladbroke Grove tube station which connects you to the rest of London and there is a 24 hour bus stop to the West End right out the door.
Furnished with twentieth century antique furniture throughout, the apartment has double height ceilings and huge windows front and rear which means it floods with natural light. There is a completely separate raised double mezzanine sleeping area. (NB this is accessed by climbing 5 vertical steps so if you have any mobility issues please check with me for suitability) The kitchen is brilliantly equipped with a six ring stove, microwave oven, dishwasher and washer. There is super fast wifi and satellite TV and sound system with docking for your ipod so you can play own tunes. There is also a sofa bed in the living so a third person can be accommodated.
Close by are some of the best bars, restaurants and shopping that London has to offer. Buy fresh produce on the daily food market or vintage clothes in the numerous small boutiques. Browse the endless antique and bric-a-brac stalls which stretch from Golbourne Road to Notting Hill Gate at weekends. Max out your credit card at the many designer shops on nearby Westbourne Grove, where you will find branches of Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith, Joseph and numerous other high end retailers. The apartment is also within walking distance of Europe's biggest indoor shopping mall Westfield. And if all that doesn't tire you out the beautiful Holland Park and Hyde Parks are both within walking distance. There's also a great gym on the next street. A rack of bikes for hire, supplied by the London Cycle hire scheme, are one minute from the door!
Oh and just in case you fancy a cosy romantic night in, the apartment comes with its very own copy of the sound track to the film Notting Hill!
Notting Hill is a vibrant, cosmopolitan district. It has fantastic restaurants, shops, vintage shops and the world famous Portobello market. The apartment is on a street which leads directly onto Portobello Road so you will be right in the heart of it all.
The apartment is a four minute walk from Ladbroke Grove tube station. Buses to the West End stop just round the corner from the apartment and run 24 hours a day.
