Seamer is very close to Scarborough and Cayton Bay for its surfing and beach activities. There is a large Morrisons nearby at Eastfield, but Seamer itself is well serviced with pubs and local convenience store.
There is also a local railway station at seamer on the main line with a regular service to York (50 minutes) and obviously 2 mins into the centre of Scarborough.
The cottage itself is of course next door to the local 'chippy' for Fish and Chips.
