Summary: On our way, we had two different addresses. We guessed which one it was by the description. When we arrived, I typed in the code to the door and it wasn’t correct. Since there was no photo of the outside of the house we didn’t know if we were at the right place. It turns out we weren’t. When I texted the owner to get the actual address, she said at first she wasn’t sure and would have to find it. We began going to the other address listed, that wasn’t it either, it was just down the road from the first address. When we finally got there, it was 93 outside. There is no A/C, all the windows were closed, and it was almost 90 inside the cabin and there was only one fan. There were ants absolutely everywhere in the cabin. We cleaned the kitchen constantly and as soon as we cooked something, but there were so many we couldn’t even cook without them crawling all over the counter. There were 5 of us staying for 5 nights, with no washer and dryer, and there were only 5 bath towels. I have a skin condition where I cannot use dirty towels so we had to go buy our own bath towels and go to the laundromat. I’m running out of space so I’ll shorten the rest:Uncomfortable beds. Comforters feel like paper. Mousetraps everywhere. Very few outlets, lots of cheap extension cords (fire hazards). Flies are HORRIBLE outside and at the beach, locals say it’s normal. They’re huge and bite. There’s nothing to do closeby. Everything in Roger’s City is closed. The price was good, but not worth it.
