Relax and enjoy our lake house on all-sports Duck Lake! Perfect for families that want to enjoy a quiet setting on a scenic lake. Spend your days boating on the water or enjoy a kayak ride out to Lake Michigan, drop a line off the private dock and see what you catch. Enjoy the fire pit in the evenings down by the water or sip on a glass of wine on the deck.
The house is located close to several West Michigan destinations:
Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Water Park is a 10 minute car ride
Muskegon State Park Sports Complex, boosting one of the country's only winter and summer luge tracks, it also has zip lines, cross country skiing trails, outdoor ice rink, and a ice skating trail. The complex is a 10 minute car ride.
Duke Lake State Park and it's abundant hiking trails is a 5 minute car ride or 10 minute bike ride.
The Duck Lake Channel and it's awesome Lake Michigan Beach is a 2 minute car ride or 10 minute kayak paddle.
The lake house is spacious with two living room areas, three bedrooms, a pull-out couch, (sleeps 10), two full baths, a fully stocked kitchen, a large kitchen island and large dinning table, an awesome deck with grilling area and propane fire pit.
The dock is capable of mooring two 20+/- foot boats, and has a double place personnel watercraft lift. Enjoy the use of 4 open bow kayaks, and a paddle boat. Guest must bring their own lifejackets.
A few peddle bikes are in the garage for your use, they are not the greatest, but are fun if you want to take a ride to Lake Michigan or Duck Lake State Park.
Please consider before renting: Our lake house sits in quiet family friendly area. We love the peace of the area and respect our neighbors. No outdoor loud music on the deck, large group gatherings, bachelorette/bachelor or parties of the sort. We expect our guests to be considerate.
