This custom craftsman home sits on 30 spectacular wooded acres with towering pines, flowering fruit trees, and a huge garden area. If there is a feature that makes this home unique is the private, three-acre spring-fed swimming area available for you and your guests. The house sits back by itself in a very private atmosphere where you can enjoy the beauty of nature. Walking trails are around the property and you can walk from the property to Metamora Hadley State Park. Many trails can be easily groomed for cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Some of the local attractions you can find within a short drive include Sutherland Nature Sanctuary, Ortonville Recreation Area, Oakwood Lake Township Park, Lapeer Country Club, downtown Lapeer, downtown Oxford, Pine Knob Ski Resort, Mt. Holly Ski & Snowboard Resort, and Alpine Valley.
Upon entering this splendid home away from home, you will discover a spacious open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and a gorgeous three-sided gas fireplace that fills the entire place with ambiance and warmth. Spread out comfortably near the warmth of the fireplace to plan your next adventures or simply enjoy an entertaining conversation with your loved ones. The adjoining kitchen has been updated with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, marble floors, and a huge smart TV. You'll have all the essentials to prepare culinary masterpieces for the group! This floor also boasts a designated laundry room with a washer/dryer and a sink. The huge and bright primary suite enjoys breathtaking views of lush rolling hills and a deluxe en suite bathroom with rare Onyx marble, a walk-in shower with a waterfall showerhead, and a jetted tub.
