This also includes Halifax Minister and the newly restored Grade I Listed Piece Hall which is an absolute must to visit. Halifax itself is known for its stunning Victorian architecture and strong industrial heritage. It’s also becoming more well known as the back drop to Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax, Ackley Bridge and Gentleman Jack. In 2022 Marvel were spotted filming in the area as were Mission Impossible in 2021.
Grade II Listed Shibden Hall as seen in ‘Gentleman Jack’ can be reached in a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk, and is surrounded by the stunning restored gardens and estate that all form part of Shibden Park.
