Positive: The cottage is lovely and bigger inside than it looks in the picture. Everything we needed was provided, with items of good quality and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The location is great, the cottage is surrounded by countryside and the nice village of New Abbey a short walk away. The area is lovely with nice walks around as well as historic sites and nature reserves etc. The owners (Suzi and Alistair) were delightful and very helpful in providing information. Given the lovely weather we had the outside space and nice table were certainly appreciated. A great short stay in a lovely spot. I would certainly recommend

Negative: Whilst the cottage is bigger than expected the kitchen/diner isn't. No problem for the two of us but it would be a squeeze for six! Also not a problem for us but be aware that there are some small steps between some of the rooms which are perhaps not ideal for guests with any mobility issues.
