2 bedroom ranch, approximately 850 sq ft, 1 bath with shower, updated kitchen, washer/dryer on site. Both bedrooms have Queen beds, large deck with gas grill, firepit by waters edge. Over 120 ft of waterfront. Kayaks, oars and jackets available for traveling the 4 lake chain no-wake lake; pontoon available to rent $50/day (text host that you want to reserve it), metal fishing boats and kayaks are on shore free for guests to explore the lakes. This is a private lake chain with no public access, Guests can NOT bring their own boats at this time. Please note that our Cottage is surrounded by trees and wildlife of all kinds, we are in a very remote area of Southern Hillsdale County. Nearest grocery store is 20 minutes away and cell signal is often unpredictable depending on your carrier. It goes without saying that night time is dark, however it is important to highlight for city folk that Night in the country is extremely dark, new sounds are often un-unnervingly strange for those accustomed to city noise. Bring a flash light and earplugs, our frogs are loud and boisterous. Also, the slope to the cottage and lake is steep with 2 sets of 15 cement steps. Not suitable for those with bad knees or handicapped. Best to have an AWD vehicle in the early spring/winter... due to mud and snow accumulation. Summer our one track dead end dirt road is fine unless we've had a lot of rain...
