Negative: I have stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Hesperia every December for the past 14 years, and this is the first time I’ve felt disappointed enough to write a negative review. During this visit, the floors in each of our rooms had noticeable gaps where the hardwood flooring had not been installed properly. The condition looked unfinished and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this became even more uncomfortable because I had guests with me, and they pointed out the flaws in their rooms. It was honestly embarrassing, especially given the standard I’ve come to expect from Marriott. Loyalty and consistency are the reasons I’ve returned year after year, but this experience has caused me to reconsider. Unless improvements are made, we will likely look for another place to stay on future visits.
