Thurlestone is a popular village with pretty thatched cottages, an old church and post office. The Village Inn partially constructed from a stricken armada vessel draws an eclectic mix of local characters and visitors eager to sample the local ales. The village boasts one of the best hotels in Devon offering a restaurant, health spa and a 9 hole golf course open to non residents and a superb 18 hole links course.
