A character terraced cottage originally part of a stone barn, just outside the village of Barlow. Beautifully renovated to provide contemporary open plan accommodation on the ground floor, complete with woodburner, this property also boasts two bedrooms on the first floor. Set in magnificent countryside near the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal base for relaxing or enjoying more energetic pursuits such as walking or cycling. The historic market town of Chesterfield acts as the gateway to the Peak District, and has much to offer visitors. The town is famous for its 14th Century church with "Crooked Spire", twisting curiously from its true centre, while the frequent bustling market days are ideal for exploring the many different specialist shops and stalls which line the old Market Hall and charming Shambles beyond.
