Spend the day hanging out on almost an acre property and enjoy listening to the natural sounds in the hammocks or swings, or playing yard games with family or friends.
You can bike or drive to many bodies of water. So sunbathing, swimming, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and rowing are all available....the list goes on.
Water sports is not the only option –this cabin is also surrounded by miles of nature for multiple activities….. Bird Watching, Hiking, Snowshoeing, Hunting, ORV/ATV riding, Fishing, Snowmobiling…. You name it. We invite you to explore the 1000s of acres of beautiful forests with marked trails just down the road -as well as the Manistee National Forest and Pere Marquette River only a few miles away
If you prefer to take a short trip-Ludington is a 25-minute ride. Enjoy the downtown shopping and dining. Or check out Lake Michigan, the lighthouses, or the sand dunes. Additional Bonus-Traverse City is only a little over one hour away.
The space
The charming log cabin offers a cozy living room with comfortable seating, glowing electric fireplace, and a large smart TV (over 5k channels-sports, movies, news etc) and DVD player. Movies, games, books, and more are available for use.
After a busy day, retire to one of the two comfortable and cozy bedrooms. One bedroom has a full bed and the other larger room has a full bed and a twin bed. A sleeper sofa in the living room and a futon on the porch provides added sleeping options. All bedding, towels, and basic toiletries provided. Cabin has one bathroom with shower.
3Bs has a kitchen that is fully equipped for all your cooking and dining needs- refrigerator/freezer, stove and oven, toaster, microwave, crockpot, waffle maker, coffee pot, pots, pans, cooking utensils, bbq utensils, dinnerware, silverware, and glasses. Dining set up for six at the country kitchen table or picnic table outside. A stocked coffee bar is set up for your drinking enjoyment. A charcoal grill is available for outdoor cooking (must supply your own charcoal).
The enclosed porch has a pool table and a fun singing machine for your entertainment.
The 3Bs shed has kayaks that can be borrowed (these are not guaranteed and used at your own risk. Owner assumes no liability for use). Ample space is available for parking boats, trucks, and campers. Lots of yard space. Spend the evening sitting by the fire pit while roasting marshmallows, singing songs, sipping beverages, and telling stories.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cabin, grounds, and the nearby beach. State trails are mostly free. However, some state parks require a pass. Golf carts are available for rent through 3rd party.
Other things to note
This is a remote and rustic area. Internet is provided but not guaranteed. No refunds for bugs or pests- we treat the cabin appropriately but it is in the woods. All activities are done and all equipment is used at your own risk. Bears and wildlife are possible- Don’t feed the wildlife.
