Positive: The property location and walking distance to the beach. Accessible to main arterial road that can take you towards the city easily. The bedrooms were large and could easily fit suitcases. having 2 living areas and 2 bathrooms helps to accommodate larger groups. Kitchen well stocked with utensils to cook at home. The Hello Host team were timely with messages about check in and check out. They were prompt to respond to an issue we had on site but they will only communicate by text message. It would have been preferred to have an option to actually talk to someone to get more clarity in a timely way. having two sets of keys was really helpful. Lovely Thai restaurant in walking distance and also can walk to the pub and grange jetty. Getting into and out of the driveway was not as problematic as we had anticipated.

Negative: The property met our expectations. We knew it was on a busy arterial road and yes, there is traffic noise that comes through loud and clear into the bedrooms, but it does ease at night. Keep in mind this is an older property with floor boards which will carry noise as you walk throughout the house. This wasn't a real problem but something for light sleepers to be aware of. I really didn't like the coat hangers zip tied to the clothes rails. Seriously? You have entrusted people to stay in your home, use your appliances and treat it with respect and are worried for losing a set of $2 coat hangers occasionally? Maybe that's why clothes pegs weren't provided either.

Summary: Spacious for a larger group but does carry traffic noise.
