From the moment you walk into the wide hallway, the light from the floor to ceiling windows captures the lush rear view of the property and reserve beyond.
The fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge is based on open plan living design. This is the perfect space to entertain, relax and watch your favourite shows on the big 65” screen, or catch up with friends on the outdoor deck.
There are two bedrooms with King sized beds (can be split on request), each with its own ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms feature wardrobes, panel heating and TV’s. The bathrooms have walk in showers.
Seasonally, there is a wood heater for cozy nights by the fire (wood not supplied for reduced rate long stays but can be arranged on request. Not available during fire ban season). All other times the air conditioner will heat and cool the property. Large modern French & Sliding Doors can be opened to bring the outside in.
Set on a total 1 & ½ acre block (1/2 acre for barn), 5 minutes from Daylesford, the Big Black Barn is the perfect weekend escape while still close enough to enjoy the sights & surrounds of Daylesford.
Features include –
• 2 Bedrooms with Super King size beds (can be split into singles with advance notice)
• 50” Smart TVs in bedrooms, 65” Smart TV in lounge.
• Wood fire (allocation of wood given for evenings/ambience only, additional wood at cost). Not available Nov - April due to fire restrictions
• Fully equipped kitchen including full sized fridge, oven, dishwasher and washing machine
• Walk in showers to bathrooms (one has additional access to hallway for easy access).
• Rear deck with outdoor dining & seating
. Linen, tea, coffee, milk etc supplied as well as eggs if chooks are laying
• Pet friendly for a small dog but the property is not fully fenced so would need to be supervised at all times & not left in the barn unattended (on request).
• Property is not suitable for children
Please note this property is located next to a main road. If you are sensitive to noise this may not be the property for you.
