The Blue Spruce is a recently constructed cottage that will amaze you the second you walk in the door! Awesome attention to detail in this rustic feeling yet modern getaway. Tucked away between Big Star Lake, Basford Lake and Lake Cecilia. There is also a beautiful view of the large pond that sits down below the cottage. The Blue Spruce is in the perfect location. Once inside you will find a beautiful open concept that is awesome for entertaining or just hanging out with the family. High end appliances, beautiful tile, and a huge island supported by a tree trunk! The main floor bath is very spacious and the main floor bedroom is beautiful as well with exposed beams and a very comfortable queen bed. As you make your way up the handmade staircase you will enter to the loft area which is a great space for kids! There is also extra sleeping with a comfortable queen bed. In the upstairs bedroom you will find another very comfortable full bed and an additional half bath. The cottage comes fully stocked and also has a washer and dryer. Outside there is a covered patio with a beautiful view down to the pond. It’s a great area to watch all the wildlife! We have seen fox, deer, squirrels, and even a Bald Eagle! What makes the Blue Spruce even more amazing is how close it is to all that northern Michigan and Lake County have to offer! With 156 lakes, and 46 trout streams, four major rivers, and over 300 miles of ORV & ATV trails and over 750 miles of groomed connecting snowmobile trails, it's a sportsperson's and trail rider's paradise. Plus you can ride your ATV -ORV and Snowmobiles right from the cottage to the trails. If you don't have an ATV or Snowmobile, no problem, there are places nearby that rent them out. World Class Fishing for Trout, Salmon and Steelhead, in the Pere Marquette River, Pine River, Big Manistee River and Little Manistee Rivers. Great pan fishing in most of the 156 lakes.
