Summary: Overall, the condo appeared just as listed. The view was lovely and the place was pretty clean and a good size. There are 2 things to keep in mind with this condo, however. The first is the distance from downtown. It takes about 35-45 min by taxi or 20 by bike to get downtown. Not a huge deal on a bike, but it does get extremely dark and hard to see at night with very few lights, so be careful of that. Also, if you are on a single speed bike, the hills back up can be difficult. And just a warning: the taxis do not run out there often, so expect to wait up to an hour for service at peak times and late at night. Again, not a big deal, just something to keep in mind. The only real issue we had was the noise. The walls/ceilings are pretty thin, and it's very easy to hear all the neighbors voices and movements. Perhaps we just had particularly noisy neighbors during our stay, so this might not apply to you. Also, since there's no A/C, the best way to keep cool is to leave the screen door and kitchen window open, but that means you will hear every coming and going, so bring some ear plugs. Plus, if you're staying in the 2023/2024 season, keep in mind there is major construction happening all around the condo starting early in the morning. We had a very hard time sleeping, especially since we sleep past 7 AM. Again, these factors might not apply to everyone or all year round, so take this with a grain of salt. This was just our experience at what was otherwise a lovely condo.
