Treat yourself! Enjoy incredible views, wild turkeys, the incredible Hot Spring Spa with a glass of wine overlooking it all. There is also so much to see within a short drive. Take a scenic drive right from the property all the way up to Mesa Grande and around to Santa Ysabel and back to the Lake View Retreat. Maybe take in a beautiful hike on Santa Ysabel West or Three Sisters Falls. Or visit one of the incredible wineries close by.
Finish the evening with a glass of wine as you soak in the hot tub overlooking the breathtaking scenery and enjoy all the incredible birds visiting the feeders and bath. Top that off with a hot outdoor shower. Incredible sunrise and sunset views. Add in the lake views between the oaks and you might think you are in heaven. There are no city lights to dim the stars. Roast marshmallows around the fire pit, enjoy your meals outside at the large iron table and comfy chairs. Depending on the time of year you might wake up to deer and turkeys staring in the window. "Lara's home was perfect! The views were amazing! We even saw deer, 5 of them in the front yard. The home seems brand new with all the modern updates. Felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. Our only complaint is we wish we had more time to relax at her home & enjoy the calmness of it. Truly a home to recharge in."
"This place is so extraordinary. The location is amazing, the home is cozy and well decorated. You can tell the moment you arrive that this is a special place. The birds in the yard, the scenery, the absolute quiet and the stars at night! It is well equipped for cooking meals and really, everything you need is there except your own things! So much attention to detail and making sure you will feel comfortable. I stayed so I could explore the area and visit Julian. A good spot to do that from."
"We had the most amazing time at this beautiful home! I knew from the photos that this place would be nice but it was even better in person which is hard to believe! The hosts have gone above and beyond to make you feel at home, to have all those extra nice touches. We love sitting by the fire pit in the backyard and waking up and eating breakfast on the back patio. The views are spectacular. One of my favorite homes we’ve stayed at to date! If you stay here you won’t want to leave!"
"Only praise for this amazing property! The pictures don't do the views justice - and I thought the pictures were amazing. The whole house is very stylish and the views from every room can't be beat! Between watching the birds and wildlife and sitting in the hot tub at night, we wouldn't have even needed to go anywhere else. With the close proximity to San Diego as well as the reasonable road trip distance to Joshua Tree, this is the perfect location. I would recommend this property to anyone. AMAZING!"
"My wife and I could not stop talking about how perfect this house is. It feels like we jumped into a pinterest ad for beautifully done and decorated kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces. It smells clean and fresh and a little like crate & barrel. We can't get over the gorgeous views and landscaping. This was a quick weekend trip and we SO wish we had a least a few more days."
