Welcome to our home away from home. Our beautiful mountain retreat is exceptionally comfortable & inviting. Located on a quiet interior street with flat, south facing driveway in lower Tahoe Donner it is steps away from trailheads for hiking, biking & snowshoeing. A short drive to ski resorts and historic Old Town Truckee make this a desirable location!
After a long drive or a day of skiing you'll appreciate coming home to our smart, stylish, uncluttered, peaceful getaway. The attached garage, flat driveway and snowplow service make easy entry into the spacious floor plan with vaulted ceilings. The living room, dining room & kitchen have an open concept and share the first floor with two bedrooms, full bathroom and laundry room down the hall. For the cooks in the family, the kitchen has a gas stove and oven, stainless steel appliances, and is stocked with essentials. The upstairs loft has a futon for overflow sleeping, a foosball table for fun entertainment, and comfy seating. The master BR suite is located off the loft, has vaulted ceilings and seating area. For additional enjoyment, step down into our cozy media cave equipped with a large sectional and big screen TV, perfect for game and/or movie night. We have high-speed wireless Internet and two big screen Hi-def TVs (one in the LR and the other in the media room) with cable and Blu-Ray DVD's. We have nice comfy mattresses, couches and furnishing with a mix of eclectic pieces we’ve acquired along the way. We hope you enjoy your stay!
Guests have access to the Tahoe Donner amenities, including the Trout Creek Rec Center, with gym, hot tubs, and outdoor heated lap pool. (there is a fee charged per guest at the door, and you'll need the guest passes, provided). These amenities and the fees are subject to change.

Maximum of 6 guests comfortably (or 8 depending on your group - contact hosts for more info). Once booked, we will email you with more details, rules, and instructions that you will need to sign and return.

Use of our home is for your quiet enjoyment. If you're looking for a "party palace", we suggest you look elsewhere.
The driveway is plowed by a service, but there may be delays in the event of heavy snowstorms. Please follow opening and closing procedures during winter season.
We do have a strict no-pet policy for guests. No exceptions.
Note: the home can sleep up to 8 people, which includes 2 on the futon in the loft, but for everyone's comfort we recommend no more than 6 adults in your party. The home is not handicap accessible, with steps up into the house, as well as up to the second floor.
No pets, please. And definitely NO smoking.
Upon acceptance of your booking, you will be sent a separate rental agreement, describing house rules in more detail. You will need to return this signed agreement along including the names of all members of your party and a picture of your driver license.
