Welcome to Annie’s Place! Enjoy the sights and sounds of our family winery and vineyard, as well the relaxation of being in the country.
Annie was one of the founding members of Sandhill Crane Vineyards. She loved pouring wine for our guests, and they loved her wit and sass! She appreciated the abundance of nature and wildlife around her. She was my aunt and one of my favorite people. We frequently enjoyed sitting on her porch having a glass of wine or a cocktail. Annie passed away in 2022 but her memory lives on with her family and everyone who loved her. We hope you will say a special toast to her as you enjoy relaxing on her porch with a glass of your favorite Sandhill Crane Vineyards wine!
The space
Annie’s Place is an apartment within a larger home. The apartment is completely private. At this time there is no one living in the home but it will be renovated. There may be construction noise between 9 am and 5 pm.
This beautiful serene apartment has been recently renovated. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room,a bedroom with a queen bed, a beautiful bathroom with a large walk-in shower, and a relaxing enclosed porch. At this time there is no air conditioning. Guests have access to the heated indoor pool. Outside, guests can use the grill or sit by the firepit, or take a stroll around the property and enjoy the vineyard, fruit trees and wildlife. You may see deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, hawks, Sandhill Cranes, and many other species of birds. Please be aware there are also bugs, bees and poison ivy! This property is a working vineyard and winery. You can expect activity and noise during business hours. We have events, festivals and live music. It can be quite busy at times! Feel free to check our website www.sandhillcranevineyards.com for a complete list of events for the year. You are welcome to spend time enjoying our wine, beer, cider and delicious cafe food. We have lawn seating and a wrap around deck.
