The space
Welcome to Redwood Retreat, where lakefront serenity meets adventure and family fun. Nestled on a quiet inland lake just minutes from Lake Huron, our spacious retreat is perfect for year-round getaways—whether it’s spring blooms, summer swims, crisp fall colors, or a cozy winter escape.
Spend your days kayaking, fishing off the dock, or relaxing in the three-season sunroom with panoramic views of the water. Evenings are for grilling lakeside, watching golden sunsets from red Adirondack chairs, or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Whether you’re planning a couples’ getaway, a multigenerational trip, or a friends’ retreat, Redwood offers room to gather and space to unwind.
Inside, enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, an arcade game room, and thoughtful touches throughout—from children’s toys and board games to room-darkening shades for a restful night. The lake is just steps away, and nearby attractions like canoeing the Au Sable, hiking in Huron National Forest, and exploring Oscoda’s charming downtown are just minutes from your door.

Guests have access to the entire home and property, with the following exceptions:
• Garage – no guest access.
• Owner’s Closet – secured and unavailable to guests.
• Sunset Overlook – this upstairs open viewing area is not safe for use as it does not have a railing. For safety reasons, it must remain off-limits during your stay.
All other spaces, including the bedrooms, kitchen, living areas, sunroom, game room, dock, and outdoor spaces, are available for your enjoyment.
