Positive: The cottage is really lovely, beautifully decorated and quite recently, judging by the new looking kitchen and bathrooms. The two doubles bedrooms are light and spacious and include a good sized wardrobe in each. There’s also a fabulous downstairs wet room with shower and WC - perfect after a day at the beach. The kitchen is also very well appointed and larger than it appears on the photos.

Negative: The parking was a bit of a problem for us. We have a normal sized family estate car (not a 4x4) but we were unable to fit it in the small space that belongs to the cottage. There’s a large telephone pole in the middle of the space, and a sheer drop at the back, so no room for error! We had to unload the bags, and then re-park a little further away. As its name suggests, the cottage is at the top of a hill and there are steep steps to access it from the road - and steep steps up to the pretty courtyard garden, so maybe not suitable for very young children or elderly/disabled guests.

Summary: Nice little cottage up a hill!
