Boat trips are available from nearby Amble for sea fishing and to view the seabirds on Coquet Island. A few minutes’ drive and you will be in Alnwick, with its famous castle and enchanting water gardens and a larger selection of shops and pubs. Beach ¾ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
