Wesley House is a Grade II listed property dating back to 1501, which has been sympathetically renovated by the current owner. Set in the popular town of Shrewsbury which offers guests a range of bars, shops and restaurants, all nearby and within walking distance of the property. All set on one level and on a quiet cobbled side street, historic Wesley House has a plaque on the front of the property stating that ’The Rev John Wesley, founder of the Methodism movement preached within this house on his first visit to Shrewsbury March 16th 1761’, hence the name of the house.

Just off the living room is a hidden study area which currently comprises of a child bed for alternate sleeps. The kitchen/dining room features the most beautiful handmade tiles which have been made by the owner to showcase some of the sites in Shrewsbury. The kitchen also includes the stunning feature of an original cast iron stove. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, as well as a family shower room. To the rear of the property there is a fully enclosed courtyard. Although there is no private parking with the property, there is a public car park set close by and guests can pull up to unload the car outside of the property.
Within Shrewsbury there is plenty for guests to see including Haughmond Abbey Ruins, Shrewsbury Abbey and the Shrewsbury Museum. There is plenty for more active guests surrounding Shrewsbury including the Shropshire Hills, and nearby Stiperstones are worth a trip out too.
