The house has been tastefully decorated throughout, providing all the comfort for an ideal relaxing holiday for up to five guests, and it is within easy access to the amenities yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and private. There is a modern, well-equipped kitchen that has all of the appliances needed to prepare a home-cooked meal. From the kitchen, you can access the rear enclosed utility/porch with a washing machine and access to the back lane. This porch area is useful for unloading bags/shopping etc, or storing bikes/buggies. To the front of the house is a private garden with an outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the sunny and light aspect. Head upstairs to discover the two stylish bedrooms which each have a kingsize bed, and the family bathroom is fitted with both a bathtub and a shower cubicle, offering the choice of a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower.
There are lots of family-friendly attractions in the area to keep you occupied during your holidays such as a visit to Buckfast Abbey, Pennywell Farm, the River Dart Country Park, the Butterfly Farm and the Otter Sanctuary. Along with the stunning Dartmoor National Park to explore, enjoy a long walk and a well-earned drink afterwards in one of the many historic pubs dotted around. The South Devon Railway is nearby on the edge of Buckfastleigh, enjoy a 14-mile round trip along the stunning valley of the River Dart to Totnes and back. There are also some lovely beaches to explore on the Devon coastline a short drive away. In the town of Buckfastleigh, there is an outdoor swimming pool, a kid’s play park, and a small skate park within short walking distance from the house. The neighbouring vibrant town of Ashburton, just 4 miles away, has lots of great eateries, antique shops, etc.
