It is near the picturesque village of Broadhembury and is ideally suited for exploring east Devon. Locally you can enjoy walking and riding, visit Dunkeswell Abbey or for the more adventurous, there is Dunkeswell Aerodrome for parachuting, skydiving and microlight flying. The well known seaside resort of Sidmouth is 15 miles for family days out, and slightly further Seaton and the famous Lyme Regis with its Cobb, beach and harbour. An ideal base for families, walkers and bird watchers. Shop 5 miles. Village shop/post office/tea room and pub with food 0.5 miles.
