Located in the village of Wonastow, just 4 miles from the fabulous town of Monmouth, this lovely semi-detached, single-storey conversion has been restored to a very good standard throughout. Situated next door to the owner on a working farm, with open views of the countryside, it is great for those who are less able as ramp access through the front door allows for easy access for those with walking aids or wheelchairs.
Situated on the Offa’s Dyke footpath, the property offers a great open plan living space with a superb wood burner in the living area, and a lovely enclosed lawned garden and patio area for those with four-legged friends. The charming large master bedroom has a kingsize bed and TV for those lazy mornings, and there is also a double sofa bed in the living area. The shower room has a higher seated toilet seat (on request), a chair for the shower and grab rails.
This south-facing property is lovely, light and sunny in the summer months and there is an air conditioning unit in the property should you get too hot. For those winter months there is the underfloor heating run from the owner’s biomass heating and solar panels, and the wood burner to keep you cosy and warm. By prior arrangement with the owner, private hot tub hire can be arranged with a local company at cost. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
